Nope. I’m here because my ancestors fled, survived, let themselves be enslaved, claimed to have converted, etc. etc. etc. My antecedents didn’t fight back. And I’m perfectly okay with that.

Everything they did is fighting back.

Whatever it takes to survive is fighting back.
