You ignored two things.

First of all, the Mao example.

Second is that there is no clear distinction between one wacky view and another, since it’s a continuum. So where exactly does one stop? That’s the point of my comment. Where is the demarcation? I happen to think that a child inculcated in YEC ideology is crippled, in a way. Yet I do not propose taking him away.

Also, it seems the children were taken away merely because of the names. If he named them John and Mary, he would be able to instill in them whatever ideology he liked.

Finally, again, do you think children of all racists, homophobes and misogynists should be taken away? Because that’s multiple millions.
