I am bipolar 1, well-medicated, highly functioning. But I consider myself the same as someone bipolar who is psychotic, I just have meds that work. I have been psychotic in the past. I know what it is.

This is not mental illness. Someone who is deeply psychotic, who has broken from reality, can’t manage a goldfish, much less plan an assault for weeks, acquire guns and tactical gear, write a manifesto, and carry out a mass shooting in a methodical and organized manner. We’re not organized enough to make brownies.

I am tired. It’s not us.
