I’m no death penalty fan. But I would not lift a finger in objection in this case. It’s the UCMJ, (where the military’s needs can make harsher than criminal law penalties appropriate) we have 13 dead, and I’d hate to see our sentencing be impacted by how our devout enemies can play propaganda games. Short of immediate release, he will be a propaganda playable item.

AFAIK the propaganda and claims by the pro liars who run agitprop for Al Qaeda can pound sand. Every shot fired, every combat death is grist for that mill.
