Huckabee was the only one stupid enough to give the guy a full pledged defense and to make the people talking about it out to be the bad guys not the you know actual bad guy. Huck will defend anyone who’s a fellow evangelical. I seem to recall reading about him buying the cock and bull story of a born again who was convicted of murdering a relative of Bill Clinton’s and getting the guy out of prison and I think the guy committed murder again. Not sure the exact details but it’s actually that which ruined his cred with law and order conservatives.
