I think a shocked and sullen silence has beset them.

I’m still angry as fuck that allegedly smart people bought into the idea that Trump is some kind of non-interventionist and perhaps even “pro-choice”. He’s going to proving a lot of people were absolutely delusional. How will they respond? Will they gain some wisdom about how protest votes are self destructive?
