I suspect our only hope of holding Congress in the midterms is a massive backlash when SCOTUS reverses Roe this summer and abortion becomes illegal in half the country.

I mean….my bracing fear is that happens, and that there is a backlash, but it ends up against the Dems because, once again, they’re ‘in charge’ when it happened. Forget that the justices were all Republican-appointed ones. Not to mention folks who will conscientiously ‘abstain’ because Dems ‘allowed this to happen’.
