Yeah, kindness has really done a world of good when dealing with evil. She truly does not understand how abusers behave. And they do behave precisely like domestic violence perpetrators. Trump is in your face with it, some of them are more subtle, but none of them EVER respond to kindness except to beat the shit out of the source
