I recall reading that about meth hitting the scene in ‘68, and it pretty much all went straight to hell after that.

That’d be around the time that old Charlie Manson was hanging around the Haight-Ashbury scene, wasn’t it? Or had he and his creepy cronies scurried off to the Spahn Movie Ranch by then?

When he was arrested I saw his pictures and it rang no bell. Don’t recall anyone life him either but let’s face it, it was
1. Almost 50 years ago.
2. I was stoned a good deal of the time then.
3. I am stoned now. (Live in beautiful British Columbia now.)
