Why don’t you just come out and say you disagree about gays and lesbians marrying instead of beating around the damned bush?

It would be very much more honest than what you’re doing.

Because I don’t disagree now, is the thing! But I supported Proposition 8 back when it was passed. Things change, I’ve changed, and I now admit I was wrong. But its not like I was abusive towards gay people back then, and neither was Brendan Eich. It just seems to me Eich got thrown out something he’d done years ago that a lot of other people did and that was done for non-hateful reasons. He was wrong to support Proposition 8 and so was I, but is it fair he should lose his job for it?
