Before he died, FDR said he’d like to be memorialized in D.C. by something small and simple, preferably aside the Treasury Building. Frankly, I think the memorial they did build in DC is kinda tacky and far too grandiose. I haven’t seen the memorial on NYC’s Roosevelt Island yet, but it looks interesting.
