Not immigration judges, US district court judges (those who have life time appointments and generally take no shit*). The Trump administration is pursuing felony changes, meaning folks are getting federal public defenders. That op-ed makes clear, the administration can’t answer basic questions about where kids are. That such a policy could exist is not only a tragedy but should be the first article in articles of impeachment for incompetence/unfit for office.
