What truly normal person would have the ego to believe him/herself capable of tackling the huge problems, coupled with the suspension of disbelief that it takes to tell themselves they can take the total invasion of their private lives and the intrusion into the lives of their family, not to mention the inevitable abuse-via-press that is SOP for a major candidacy today? (stop, I know it’s a run-on, don’t care).
Grandiose personality, depersonalization, narcissm, and magical thinking are just preliminary attributes required to apply.
