Gus told me once that back in the day he was okay with the idea of Muslim internment, and I’ve occasionally gone into the archives looking for info, but I try not to read the comments. I know pretty much all the lizards who are still around have changed, but it still pains me to read some things that were written by people I like & respect now.

Knowing that the most egregious comments were nuked only makes reading old comments even more trepidatious. It’s like, “Sheesh, and this isn’t even the really bad stuff…”

I fully admit I was a complete jackass back in the day when I let my temper get the better of me. Then I realized “Wait, you mean literally and not rhetorically?”
