I’m just saying that setting up a defense fund should not be taken as a sign of guilt. When Rahm Emmanuel got a lawyer after Blago was indicted, I defended his decision to do so on these pages. You can check if you like. My record on the point I was making, small though it is, is consistent with no flip-flops.
