Here’s the story of Newt’s disgusting treatment of his first wife:

Look up ‘asshole’ in the dictionary and you’ll find a picture of Newt Gingrich.

Of course, unless he’d come out and said, “yeah, er, that was pretty jacked up”, the 30-year thing is a little weak. Either way, I was looking for text of the story and stumbled across this comment in a thread. [sarcasm]Gotcha! Clearly the whole thing was a lie!![/sarcasm]

I’ve heard this story but it makes no sense!
Why would a guy divorce his wife who was going to die anyway!
That means she would take half his money - AND THEN DIE!
If he let her just die, then he would keep ALL THE MONEY!
My BS radar is WAY UP HIGH on this story, which I have never seen any evidence for.
