Economies are constantly in transition. Do Ifeel bad for communities that lost the mining and steel mills? Certain, my mom’s parents actually come from such a place but don’t dismiss things like green energy and solar as hippie crap either and a lot of these people do.

Part of a politician’s job used to be delivering well-paid jobs in abundance for people with minimal skills and education. That is what factory and mining work was all about.

Those jobs are not coming back, and no amount of threats or promises from any President is going to change that.
