What exactly are they trying to prove? That they can drive around in their portable social distancing pods (AKA cars)? That they’re generally assholes? Like, I get it, this sucks for everyone, but what is your alternative beyond “fuck you”?

ask most people what they want and they cant articulate it

you’re not locked down
no one is prevented from going out
no one is prevented from shopping, getting take out etc

are they protesting there’s nothing ‘to do because restaurants, bars, malls and everything else is closed? or do they want to go back to work?

well tough.

businesses will reopen when they deem it safe and when they have a way to control and manage the inevitable spread virus, for which they will be held responsible

oh, and we’re not ever ‘getting back to normal’ whatever that was
we’re moving forward and things will be different from now on
