DeSantis is definitely going to run 100%. And he will beat Trump as he continues to play both sides. DeSantis just signed the fascist Thoughtcrime bill survey, but he also signed a seemingly left-leaning bill expanding college tuition eligibility assistance to teens working traditional jobs instead of just volunteer work. Of course with DeSantis, there is an anterior motive of then using the envisioned “purified” Florida state colleges to promote right wing fascism once they are in school, but as of now this legislation will help poorer students in their college efforts.

But make no mistake, DeSantis is a more refined, disciplined fascist who will use populism on both sides to achieve his goals of personal power.
