Just got a offer to update my furnace and AC to a more energy efficient unit. Part of the stimulus package is a $1500 credit, Carrier had a $900 rebate, the utility company kicked in another $350 energy rebate and zero percent financing, 10 year warranty. I’ll pay back $250 month for 2 years, and save $100 month for the life of the unit, seems like a good deal, especially if energy prices go up.
