re: #252 Gus

Rather amazing how so many people on the internets are so “concerned” about how a cold blooded murderer was killed rather than thinking about this psychopath’s victims. I’m willing to bet that Dorner’s Facebook memorials will get more likes that all the victims combined.

I’m not in the least bit concerned about how he was killed. I’m weirded out that people don’t want to call something that starts fires— and may have started a fire in this case— an incendiary device because they’re afraid of some mass wave of sympathy for a murdering fuckhead. The assholes on the fringes will wail about it, but they’re on the fringes, they have no power, they have no grip on control.

Reporters should stress— and I’ve seen it put in nearly every story I’ve read— that this is a commonly-used tear gas, often used against barricaded people. But to say that reporters are wrong for calling something which may have started the fire an incendiary device, to me, that’s looney-tunes.
