Libertarianism honestly at its core is rooted in the same kind of fantasies that Marxists people. Only instead of blind faith in the government, they have blind faith in the market.

Libertarians/Classical Liberals tend to have read only very select bits from Adam Smith, and ignored the stuff about positive rights almost entirely. Then they’ve ignored the actual economic history of the United States. It takes a lot of ignoring to maintain that stance.
