Lets assume, for the sake of argument, that only 95% of Islamic leaders in Canada agree with this Imam. If this were true, it wouldn’t really change things very much — violent extremism would still be unrepresentative of the vast majority of Canadian Muslims.

If you want to make a case that violent extremism _is_ representative of Canadian Muslims, you’ll need to do a lot more than nit-pick at the 99.9 percent number.
