The wife and I decided to take a spur of the moment vacation, so we’re hopping in the truck tomorrow and driving out to the Finger Lakes region of NY - Specifically, Letchworth State Park - they refer to it as ‘the Grand Canyon of the East.’

We got a room at the Glen Iris Inn for the rest of the week. I just got done cleaning my camera gear. I can’t wait to take this trip. Believe it or not, the closest I ever got to that part of the state is driving through it to get to gigs in Rochester and Buffalo - never stayed there.

The inn has no internet, so I’m outta here for a few days once I go to sleep tonight. Hmm… what to do in a scenic setting with no internet? I’m sure we’ll figure something out. Heh…
