I am still confident that on October 16 Boehner will waive the Hastert Rule and allow a clean debt ceiling increase to go to a vote, because he knows he has to. But that still leaves us with another week and a half of this bullshit to go.

He’ll need to do it well before then. S&P didn’t wait last time to jack up our rating.
