The important thing about Sam isn’t that he’s gay. It’s that he’s OPENLY gay, thus breaking a barrier and forcing people to eventually accept something that was simply denied in the past. Only a moron would think there were never any gays in the NFL. But a door has been opened today that won’t be easy to close.

Once he gets to camp and a few weeks pass I imagine some players who have been on rosters prior to this year will come out
