When talking about the Iranian program people forget their position. From their view they have the Sunni Bomb in Pakistan, the Hindu bomb in India, the Jewish bomb in Israel, so I understand why they are trying to get one.
On the other hand one more belligerent nation in that neighborhood with nukes would pretty much guarantee a nuclear war there.
