I voted this morning before work. The mere presence of a line in front of city hall at 7:00 this morning surprised many voters, indicating what I had mentioned several times previously - high voter turnout. Indeed, the poll workers even commented that they’d seen more voters in the first 15 minutes today than in the entirety of the Minnesota primary election. For all that, it was quick and painless - stand in line, give your name, verify address - no need for ID, they just ask you where you live - then hand you a card to trade for a ballot. Fill it out, scan it, and you’re on your way.
