My youngest daughter, who works at Wal-Mart, just called to relate a few eyewitness stories from yesterday’s Thanksgiving shopping frenzy:

- Grown woman and approx. 7-year old girl, fighting over a child’s chair; woman slaps girl, girl bites woman.
- Male shopper interferes with unwrapping of a pallet of electronics, hoping to get first selection, is asked by female employee to step back. Man punches employee for interfering with his bargain hunt. Man arrested.
- Loading dock employees have to be protected by police when shoppers confused by terms of the One Hour Guarantee are frustrated in their attempts to bully the purchased item immediately out of the back of the store, and threaten dire revenge.

She has to go back in today and help in the cleanup, apparently customers dropped a lot of mirrors and other glass items to shatter on the floors.
