Speaking of end-times, I saw the first part of Left Behind a few nights ago. The most amazing part is that millions disappear into thin air one fine day, leaving their clothes, cars, and leashed dogs behind, and the stay-behinds take days to get even an inkling that this may be the actual Rapture. Even then, only a handful suspect “the truth” or, indeed, have ever heard of the concept. It must be happening in an alternate world where the Rapture has not been the subject of non-stop Fundy propaganda for decades.

It all happened so fast. It was like it was a VelociRapture.
