What can I say. Louisiana is a dumb-ass state that should be rich but never has any money because, hey, taxes on the rich suck. It hit rock bottom under the cretinous “Bobby” Jindal but even the moderately conservative Democrat John Bel Edwards can’t fix anything because the legislature remains in the hands of people with the brainpower of a load of mulch. Kansas may be the poster child for some folks when it comes to the actual results of rightwing nutcase economics, but believe me, it comes in a distant second to my lovely crippled homestate.
