I wonder if the other hybrids or pure electric cars will have that issue. Imagine sitting there stuck, push the accelerator and all you get is that UFO sound.

I’m not a big fan of drive-by-wire technology…I fear I’ll end up going back to pre-airbag vehicles eventually because I like my gas pedal to be connected to a steel cable that winds its way up to the carburetor and connects to a little metal arm that, when pulled in one direction, allows more fuel to enter the engine.
