Yup. Him pushing the ideas was great but once he started undermining the party that has actually been pragmatically implementing them, it’s a problem. If he believed in the ideas more than the notoriety it brought him, he would have recognized this.
None of his supporters would even entertain the truth about Dems having championed and pushing those ideas for years. The disrespect to folks like John Conyers (wrt universal healthcare) was foul.
