I don’t make my neighbors pay to recycle my לולב and my סככ. Why am I paying to recycle their Christmas Trees? There’s “Free” tree recycling in my community; they pick it up from your curb.

(The official answer from the Mayor of Sunnyvale is that if we all didn’t, they’d have a problem with Christmas Trees being dumped illegally.)

Home Depots in our area have a section cordoned off in their parking lots to drop off your tree and they’ll take care of them free of charge
