Me too. Both my mother’s cats are from a litter that lost their mother. A family friend took the kittens in and raised them. That’s being decent, but even taking then to the Humane society is acceptable. But to simply throw them out is utterly rotten.

I believe there is a strong link between total disregard for animals and disregard for humans.
