I don’t have blue hair yet. And I am not insane. In fact, FOX is extremely popular with the military. Wonder why?
Look, I don’t think they’re a sterling example of literary greatness. But they represent something that had been missing from journalism for a long time. You may not realize it, but before they started competing, the news was unrepentently and consistently biased against the military, the government in general and esp Republicans and Conservatives. Since they came on the scene, the other news providers had to slide back a bit right to hang on to viewers. Even if they do nothing else, they keep the other providers on their toes. Competition is a good thing.
