As noted by blueraven, the majority of the muttering from Dems I’ve heard over this is due to the methods proposed for paying for the bill. Some others are peeved that it’s so lackluster, which is not surprising when economists have been sounding off that the Recovery Act was too small to do more than blunt the recession.

Meanwhile, the Republicans are staying to script, finding any way they can to argue against a jobs bill, against tax cuts, and generally against Obama. I never expected they were going to support this bill.
