It still strikes me as in really poor taste, never mind the total insanity of thinking hosting the Olympics is a good deal for the host city.

Oklahoma has owned the trail of tears. It’s not in poor taste. It is their history and they face it in humbleness. How many other states have spent a hundred years making up for the wrongs and pain they inflicted? I’ve been here 2 1/2 years and am impressed with Oklahoma.
It reminds me of the Olympics in Australia and how they revealed and showed the past wrongs of the Native people there.
It’s not in poor taste. It’s educating the world of the past history here.
More people need to learn the lessons of the trail of tears
