I heard an interview with Chuck Hagel on NPR this afternoon, and he was scathing about that carpet bomb statement. He said I don’t even think that guy knows what that is.

He ripped Trump a new one as well, with glancing blows at other Republicans and Bernie for simplifying FP. He did not mention Hillary, and he said he thought Kasich and Bush were level headed Republicans. But he obviously found the rhetoric on the R side absolutely appalling. Very blunt for a politician.
