I don’t hate heights as long as my feet are grounded. I love flying and have been to the 102st floor of the Empire State building. But put me on a step ladder and I get nervous.

My ex always wanted to try skydiving, but she could never satisfactorily answer my question: “What happens if the chute doesn’t open?”

Nobody really can, and even if they say there is a backup chute, then the question is again “and if it doesn’t open?”

Now paragliding I could get into: the chute is already open before you jump off the cliff…
