I once saw Dukakis on a C-Span interview. For a guy who had a reputation of running a waffling campaign, he was PISSED.

He didn’t run a waffling campaign. He was just up against a lying snake called the Republican Party most particularly run by that scumbag Lee Atwater. American’s were too stupid to figure out that they were being lied to by Atwater and the press played along. If he is pissed he has every right to be pissed.

America instead wound up with another conservative dinosaur, George H.W. Bush who despite his cleaned up reputation today, was another lying little snake. The whole intents of that election was to keep the Democrats from power and face hearing and possible jail time for the Iran-Contra affair.
