That 8% drop in just 7 years seems huge to me I am wondering if they just got very unlucky with their margins of error on the two surveys. I have no doubt it is declining, but that just seems really precipitous. Suppose it could be though.

i wonder what the numbers mean, even if you take them as subject to large errors

from personal experience i dont detect any large scale defection of christians from the faith but on the other hand i imagine those who did would keep it rather private
