So glad to see someone ready and willing to carry on the legacy of “we should collectively punish people who live in red areas because they’re all idiots” that’s been missing since PLL got banned for it.

I’m really tired. Not physically. Just …empathy feels like it’s missing a lot these days. A lot of people happy to be assholes to one another because “being nice doesn’t produce results” or whatever. Or it’s Twitter, so being an asshole is expected. Or whatever.

Not that it says anywhere that this is that it has to be like. But being the change is harder than bitching about the fact that reality isn’t how you want it to be, I guess.

Even if you’re on my side, if you’re an asshole, you’re part of the problem. I’m not going to say you can’t be you or whatever, because there is a limited amount of energy and time in the day and everyone uses different tactics, but don’t be surprised if we’re not friends.

Anyway I guess I am off to lurk some more and try to get shit done because life doesn’t exactly stop even when you desperately want/need a break. I wish coming to LGF felt more like one but these days it’s less a break and more an exercise in fighting off depression and anger. (And I’m not talking about the stream of news either.)
