Basque, Finnish and Hungarian are the three “oddball” European languages, with no similarities with the other language groups. I understand that some linguists believe Basque to be a sole surviving remnant of languages spoken before even the Celts moved in.

I thought that Estonian was also one of the unique languages with no relatives?
