It should also be noted that the two men who are attempting to bring Trump voters in order to bolster their chances (Sanders & Buttigieg) have both spouted off about “identity politics.” The fact that both are white men whose privilege is built into their poll numbers should be a clue that neither has any clue how tone-deaf such statements sound.
