It probably is more subtle than that. Technically he didn’t attack the Pentagon, per se, but pulled out a weapon. If the guy arrested is really the guy on the audio, this would be a classic stunt to draw attention to his ravings, thus ensuring himself a kind of immortality in the nexus of Truthers.
