I read a line somewhere (a Cracked article maybe?) that really made me laugh. The gist of it was living in a small town means you are obliged to hate Wal-Mart and complain about them constantly, but also shop there once a week. So true.

That’s why I’m happy to live in a major metro area - I can bitch about Wal-Mart and have plenty of alternatives to having to shop there.
