Apparently there’s a backfire and a huge cloud of smoke. From what I read it was designed to mess with pedestrians and bicyclists and environmentalists, i.e. owning the libs.

Kinda like the guys with the diesel trucks that stand on both pedals at the same time to generate huge clouds of smoke on the road?
