Lottery winnings above a certain threshold would already be covered under SNAP restrictions. The way it is set up, ANY income - and this includes money received from loans, and the sale of personal items - over $1200/month for a single person (roughly $200/mo more for additional beneficiaries) disqualifies a person from receiving SNAP supplemental benefits.

So if I buy a bag of groceries for a friend who’s on SNAP, her benefits are supposed to be reduced by that much? So I’m not actually helping her at all?
