You know what, fuck the term illegal. We’re talking about people here. If you have a problem with “illegal immigrants” then maybe you should favor making it easier to come here legally but wait the GOP and Know-Nothings don’t want that either. They with some exceptions don’t want to reform the drug laws that make the parts of Central America where these kids are coming from less violent. They want to cut foreign aid too. No ideas. No solution. Just a bunch of jackasses who want to attack a bunch of kids for the audacity of trying to have a better life here in our country. I welcome the immigrants. I want to give them a better welcome than the Know-Nothings gave my family when they came here.

I think if you come here without papers, but immediately turn yourself over to the ICE, you’re an asylum seeker, not an “illegal immigrant”.
